What is a POP e-mail account?

A POP e-mail account is simply a web mail mailbox.  Yahoo Mail and HotMail are examples of Pop e-mail accounts.  With a Pop account you can send and receive all e-mail from one of your domain e-mail addresses from any computer.  You don't have to only send and receive e-mail on "your" computer.  For example, let's say you have 3 e-mail addresses set up for your account - you@yourdomain.com, contact@yourdomain.com and information@yourdomain.com.  You can set up your POP e-mail account so that all e-mail that comes in goes to your web mail box.

What is e-mail forwarding and how do I set this up?

E-mail forwarding allows you to forward the e-mail that comes in to your domain to the address(es) you specify.  For example, if you have set up the following e-mail addresses - you@yourdomain.com and yourpartner@yourdomain.com you want to make sure that you get your e-mail and your partner gets his or her e-mail.  To do this you would set up forwarding.  You would tell the system to send all of you@yourdomain.com e-mail to whatever e-mail you like (for example, you@earthlink.net) and all mail that comes in to yourpartner@yourdomain.com to wherever your partner would like it sent (for example, yourpartner@yahoo.com.)

Spam is being sent to e-mail addresses I have listed on my web site.  Are you guys sending it?

Absolutely not!  We do not sell, rent or give out any of our customer information and we don't spam you with garbage offers.  There are scripts that allow an electronic "spider" to go from web site to web site on the internet collecting e-mail addresses.  If you are getting spam sent to one of the e-mail addresses listed on your web site chances are a spammer has collected your address that way.

If you are getting spam sent to you, you can block the spammer's e-mail through our spam-filtering system.  Click here for instructions on how to set this up.
